The cryptocurrency market’s recovery continued today, building upon the upward trend that started on May 3. Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, surpassed the $63,000 mark, while Ethereum (ETH) settled above $3,100. Other top-tier altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) also experienced significant price increases.
Bitcoin saw a 5.86% surge in the past 24 hours, reaching $63,030 with a trading volume of $32.62 billion. This recovery has propelled the market value of Bitcoin to $1.27 trillion.
The largest altcoin, Ethereum, witnessed a 3.87% increase in the past 24 hours, reaching $3,117. Despite this recovery, Ethereum’s trading volume slightly decreased to $12.37 billion.
Solana, a popular altcoin, surpassed the $140 level with a 3.72% increase in the past 24 hours, reaching $145.04. However, Solana’s trading volume dropped by 3.66% to $3.17 billion. Ripple’s XRP rose by 1.71% in the past 24 hours, coming close to the $0.53 mark at $0.5297. XRP’s trading volume also increased by 10.52% to $1.11 billion.
Cardano’s price rose by 2.56% in the past 24 hours, reaching $0.4682, while its trading volume decreased by 2.45% to $323.55 million. Memecoins Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) also saw price increases, with DOGE rising by 12.17% to $0.1502 and SHIB increasing by 7.80% to $0.00002495.
Among the altcoins that gained the most value today, Nervos Network (CKB) stood out with an 18.70% increase to $0.01872. It was followed by dogwifhat (WIF), which traded at $3.31 with a 17.62% increase, and Floki (FLOKI), which saw a 17.11% rise to $0.0001957. Stacks (STX) ranked fourth on the list, trading at $2.39 with a 13.98% increase.
On the other hand, the altcoins that experienced the most significant value losses were led by Helium (HNT), which fell by 2.50% to $5.37. It was followed by Sui (SUI) with a 2.10% drop to $1.10, and Ondo (OND) with a 0.78% decrease to $0.8199.
