Bitcoin briefly dipped to $70,000 today before bouncing back above $71,000. This movement coincided with a $132.2 million outflow from Bitcoin ETFs on June 6, as reported by Farside Investors. Despite this, Bitcoin managed to increase by 0.22% over the past day, reaching $71,142.90.
BTC’s lowest and highest levels in the last 24 hours were $70,119.12 and $71,625.74, respectively. Bitcoin’s dominance also rose by 0.21% to 53.24% compared to the previous day. Ethereum’s price saw a 1.57% decline to $3,804.81 within the same period. The cryptocurrency’s lowest and highest values were $3,761.78 and $3,865.93, respectively. Despite an uptick in daily active users following the approval of ETFs, Ethereum’s price has yet to see a significant surge.
Altcoins and Meme Tokens
Solana, which surpassed $170 recently, experienced a 2.02% drop to $170.47 in the last 24 hours. The cryptocurrency’s lowest and highest levels were $167.86 and $173.90, respectively. Ripple (XRP) also followed the market trend, falling by 0.68% to $0.5223. Its lowest and highest values were $0.5175 and $0.5276, respectively.
While XRP managed to stay above $0.52, a potential drop below this critical support level remained a concern for investors. Dogecoin (DOGE) fell by 1.01% to $0.1609, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) dropped by 2.99% to $0.00002511. Meme tokens like PEPE, WIF, and BONK saw a decrease of 5-6% in their prices, while FLOKI showed a 0.93% increase.
